Once a bustling student and bikers boozer and one of the oldest listed building in the area, lay dormant for 3-4 years! We spent almost a year researching and planning the interior working alongside English Heritage.
The interior now oozes character/tradition with an added modern twist, suitable for all ages! The lounge/reception areas of The Winery are located in a 14th century Abbey.
We maintained the architectural elements to form the canvas for the interior, cleaning and reviving the original stone walls in the Abbey and introduced wine cellar features! The modern bar area and main restaurant are sited under the large period vaulted ceilings.
